Chris say that KERI have just installed a new 50/10 kilowatt transmitter and adjust the antenna array so he is interested to hear if they have improved their signal.

KSBN SPOKANE, WA 1230 VERIFICATION

Money Talk 12-30 KSBN was heard with a fair signal on day on the AND2 expedition. Station Manager Brad Kemmer verified my report this evening with a nice e-mail. KSBN was Spokane's first radio station when they came on the air in 1921.

KXL PORTLAND, OR 750 VERIFICATION

E-mail from Chief Engineer Mike Everhart verified my October 2007 (AND1) report this evening. He say in the mail that a follow up will be sent via regular mail soon. KXL is a regular catch on 750.

KFXX PORTLAND, OR 1080 VERIFICATION

Dennis Glasgow verified ny January 2008 (AND2) report this evening. KFXX was heard fighting KUDO one morning with "Sportsradio 10-80 The Fan" identifications.

KBAR BURLEY, ID 1230 VERIFICATION

KBAR was heard with a "12-30 K-B-A-R" identification before a weather forcast one morning during AND2. A report to Scotty Cameron today was verified by a e-mail this afternoon. Thank you OJS for submitting Scotty's e-mail adresse.

WASR WOLFEBORO, NH 1420 VERIFICATION

WASR was one of my best catches during AND2. The station poped up with a clear identification at 2200 UTC February 1st. This opening "came out of nothing" and last for only 10 minutes. Joe Collie, General Manager verified my report yesterday with a e-mail. He also attached WASR information profile and coverage map. Thank you Joe for one of my better NA verifications.

AND2 DX-EXPEDITION

From January 24th - February 3rd another DX-pedition took place at Andoya. GS, JA, TBV and my self had some nice days at this nice place for DX-ing. Conditions was not superb but some days was good. The evening/night conditions was dominated with stations from Brazil and La Plata. The mornings was good to North America and the afternoons was good to Alaska and Northen Provinces of Canada. On the evening of the February 1st the band suddenly open up for 10 minutes around 2200 UTC. Stations from the northeast states of US (MA/ME/NH) poped up on several frequencies ex.: WBIX 1060, WGAM 1250, WASR 1420 (Daytimer!) and WGIP 1540. A lot of nice station is heard and we have a lot of recordings to go trough!

CFWH WHITEHORSE, YT 570 VERIFICATION

NEW PROVINCE! CFWH was heard with a very good signal as late as 1615 UTC on January 28th 2008 AND2. (I will write more about this expedition later). Conditions was excelent towards Alaska and Yukon this afternoon! Janet Pacey, Senior Communication Officer, CBC North verified my report with a e-mail this evening. Thanks to Jan Alvestad for submitting her adresse and to Janet for a new one!

KDDZ ARVADA, CO 1690 VERIFICATION

KDDZ Radio Disney 1690 is also a common station. Tracy Wells, Station Manager sent a brief e-mail this evening verified my report.

WOOD GRAND RAPIDS, MI 1300 VERIFICATION

WOOD is one of the more common stations. Heard several times up north. But, it wasn't before I heard them during my "Mountain DX" here in southern Norway last September I sent them a report. E-mail from Don Missad received January 29th verified my report. He say in his mail that WOOD is running 20.5 KW into a 4 tower antenna system. Their main lobe is to the north.

WWL NEW ORLEANS, LA 870 VERIFICATION

North American QSL nr. 450! Thanks to Joseph Pollet, Director of Engineering verified my September 17th reception of WWL. They had a very good signal on my "mountain dx expedition". Joseph also attached a logo to the mail.

KHNC JOHNSTOWN, CO 1360 VERIFICATION

I heard KHNC with a very good signal during KONG14 in October 2006. I have sent a couple of reports without any luck. But, thanks to Arnstein Bue who came up with a v/s I finaly received a verification today. Danette "Dani" Golden, Promotion Director verified the report with a nice e-mail.

CM.. RADIO CARIBE, NUEVA GERONA 1220 VERIFICATION

Another nice Cuban was heard on AND1 on the 24th October 2007. Radio Caribe on the "Isla de la Juventud" fade up with a fair top of the hour identification. "Secretaria" verified my report with a nice e-mail this afternoon.

KRHW SIKESTONE, MO 1520 VERIFICATION

Smokey King, Chief Enginer verified my October 24th (AND1) report this evening. KRHW was heard with 2 nice "15-20 KRHW" identifications in a WWKB fade. Thanks to Jan Alvestad for v/s information.

CKHJ FREDRICTON, NB 1260 VERIFICATION

CKHJ poped up with a "KHJ Today's country" identification on October 24th 2007 (AND1). Tom Blizzard, Program Director verified my report this afternoon with a QSL-letter and logo attached to an e-mail. Thank you for a nice QSL Tom.

KFKA GREELEY, CO 1310 VERIFICATION

KFKA was heard with a weak but clear identification on the 21st October 2007 (AND1). Justin Sasso, Owner/General Manager kindly verified my report this morning.
