An other 950 station verified today! Mike McCarthy sent a nice e-mail verifying my October 9th 2006 (KONG14) report. He say they receive 1-2 report's a month during the winter months from folks in Northen Europe. WNTD was heard with a Spanish programme identifying as "La Nueva 9-50 AM".

YES! What a start of the week. When I open up the inbox this morning I found a nice e-mail from Director of Broadcasting Antari Elbon verified my October 11th 2006 report. V7AB was heard with a huge signal when they closed down that day. I have tried several times to receive a verification from this station and finaly Antari Elbon made my day. Thank you.

WDRC HARTFORD, CT 1360 VERIFICATION

Very nice verification received yesterday evening from Scott Baron, Chief Engineer. A letter attached to an e-mail. WDRC is Connecticut’s first radio station. Serving Hartford and surrounding areas since 1922. I heard WDRC with a good signal on October 6th (KONG14).

VERY SURPRISING LOGGING

On the 5th March I heard a station on 1350 playing non-stop religious music up to the top of the hour at 6.00 a.m UTC. I could not recognize the identification so I send around my recording to some Norwegian DX-colleges. Jan Alvestad was able to identify the station as Radio BBN, Ciudad de Panama, Panama. (http://www.bbnradio.org/wcm4/spanish/BBNArticles/tabid/481/ArticleID/5987/Default.aspx). I had never heard about the station so very surprising indeed. Thank you Jan with the help. My best catch so far in 2007.
