E-mail from Tom Freel, Operations Manager at NNB Radio Astoria verified my October 12th 2006 (KONG14) this afternoon. “Sports radio 12-30 ESPN” is the dominant station on 1230 in Kongsfjord. I have tried several times to get a verification and finally Tom made my day!

Informative e-mail from John McDaniel transmitter engineer at New Northwest Broadcasters Group’s 12 stations (4 AM, 8 FM) in Yakima, Kennewick, and Walla Walla this evening. Heard KTCR mixed with KLKI Anacortes, WA during KONG14. Thank's to Bjarne Mjelde for John's e-mail adresse!

Long nice e-mail from Radiy Brudigan verified my October 12. 2006 (KONG14) report this evening. KRBR popped up from the jumble with station ID and weather forecast. Ainsworth is a community with about 2000 located in the north central part of Nebraska. There’s many large cattle farms in the area up to 20 000 to 30 000 acres! KBRB broadcast a lot of local sports and the music on the AM station is mostly country and western.

CKPC have been on the air since 1923, broadcasting from Preston, ON and they moved to Brantford in 1933

Very friendly e-mail from Bill Hatch, News/Program Director at KWIK 1240 this evening. He answered after just a few minutes to my follow-up e-mail. He could not see that my snail mail letter had been received at the station. KWIK broadcast with only 960 watts but that’s enough to reach Kongsfjord during good conditions.

Very surprised when I open up my inbox and found a email from Sr. Roberto Carlos Chavez Ch. Director Radio Tacana this evening. In an attached word doc. he verifies my reception of Radio Tacana. I have heard Radio Tacana several times and the signal was very strong on the 24th January 2006. I send them a snail mail letter in the beginning of February and nothing happened until now. A big thanks to Roberto for one of my best QSL’s this year.
