Letter from Reggie DeRoss, PD verified my October 8th 2006 (KONG14) report today. He said that they don't have any budget for promontional matrial. They are part of a 15 radio stations group on the islands and it seems they are at the bottom of the list for goodies to give out! Anyway I'm glad for the verification!

3. verification this evening came from Shawn Skramstad, Vice President/General Manager for Red Rock Radio Corporation. As for most of the GY stations the signal just popped up for some seconds an luckily they had a “AM 14-90 KQDS Duluth” identification. And yes, Shawn have norwegian ancestors!
E-mail from Randy Pugsley, Network Chief Engineer verified my October 10th 2006 report this evening. KZXR is running 5 KW daytime and 66 watts night time. Find it hard those 66 watts it’s enough to push such a good signal into Kongsfjord as they did this autumn? Although they have recently worked on improving the audio quality. Thank you Bjarne Mjelde for submiting the correct e-mail adress.
