WNTN NEWTON, MA 1550 VERIFICATION

An other great station heard during the fantastic opening February 1st 2008 (AND2) was WNTN Newton, MA on 1550. This daytimer was heard with a Creol progame with a short top of the hour ID at 2200 UTC. Director of Operations, Paul Roberts, kindly verified my report today with a e-mail. Thank you Paul!

WKBK KEENE, NH 1290 VERIFICATION

Nice e-mail from Ira Wilner (W1IRA), chief engineer verified my AND1 report today. WKBK was heard during the very good east coast opening on the 24th October 2007.

KATD PITTSBURG, CA 990 VERIFICATION

Very nice e-mail from Len Harris, Engineer verified my AND2 report. This station was heard on the 3rd February when conditions was very disturbed. Ther was no sign of the very dominate canadian CBW. Just a weak KATD with a top of the hour ID for KIQI 1010 witch they are simulcasting. Len informe me that KATD is in the process of building a new transmitter facility near San Fransisco witch should be completed by the end of the year. Curently they running 1000 watts non-directional due to vandalism at the transmitter site. The new facility will be 10 000 watts day and 5000 watts night, both directional.

KJRB SPOKANE, WA 790 VERIFICATION

Bob Castle, Program Director kindly verified my report to KJRB. In his mail he said that KJRB now have change their call letters to KGA. He don't mention what the new call letters of former KGA on 1510 is.

KKDZ SEATTLE, WA 1250 VERIFICATION

KCLR 96FM, CORBALY WOOD, IRELAND 96.0 VERIFICATION

John Purcell, Chief Executive at KCLR 96fm verified my report today. I heard this station during very good E-skip propagation on July 15th 2007. A follow up report was sent today. E-skip propagations have been very bad so far in 2008.

CFCO CHATAM, ON 630 VERIFICATION

Mike Regnier kindly verifyed the report to CFCO. Another nice catch from the AND2 expedition. CFCO was heard with a surprisingly strong signal with weather and slogan: "CFCO, your news leader in Southwestern Ontario".

KSJB JAMESTOWN, ND 600 VERIFICATION

Patrick Pfeiffer, Vice President verified my AND2 report. He writes: "You are probably not surprised to learn we do receive over a dozen or so such reports per year from your part of the world".

WSBT SOUTH BEND, IN 960 VERIFICATION
