WOTE CLINTONVILLE, WI 1380 VERIFICATION

WOTE came trough with a good signal on AND3. This evening Don Grassman verified my report. This was my NA QSL number 200 in 2008. My best QSL year since I started DX-ing back in 1970. I guess I can say thank you to the SDR IQ receivers for this good result:-) And, to the very successful AND3 DX-expedition.

KLTC DICKINSON, ND 1460 VERIFICATION

Another station with good signals from time to time is this country station - KLTC. Haven't sent them any report before today and Steve Stroud verified my report.

KRND FOX FARM, WY 1630 VERIFICATION

KRND is a station witch have very good signals into Northen Norway. In their top of the hour ID they mention they cover WY, NE, CO, KS and SD with the power of 10KW. Brief e-mail from La Familia Broadcasting today verified my report.

WGNS MURFREESBORO, TN 1450 VERIFICATION

WGNS was a station we heard on 1450 during AND3. A lot of work by Jan Alvestad and others to solve this one. (Have to mention Jari Savolainen who came up with WGNS as a possible solution). The ID was: "Your local news authority since 1947, we are 14-50 AM..." Scott Walker verified that they use this ID and he also mention the name of the announcer. Thanks to all!

KXPN KEARNEY, NE 1460 VERIFICATION

KXPN was heard with local comercials and High School football dominating over KXNO Des Moines. Very good conditions towards Nebraska at the same time. Craig J. Eckert, General Manager verified my report to day.

WSYY MILLINOCKET, ME 1240 VERIFICATION

WSYY had a very clear ID for GY-station at AND3. Mail from Dave Keys verified my report today. WSYY is a ESPN station.

WIOU KOKOMO, IN 1350 VERIFICATION

WIOU poped up with a clear identification one evening on AND3. This evening Rob Rupe, Producer kindly verified my report with a mail. He also attached a logo. Thank you for the verification Rob and also thanks to Arnstein Bue for v/s information.

WVMT BURLINGTON, VT 620 VERIFICATION

Yet another nice loging on AND3 was WVMT heard them with a promo and a top of the hour identification one morning when we had very good conditions towards the north east corner of USA. E-mail from Charlie Papillo, Program Director verified my report today.

WHUC HUDSON, NY 1230 VERIFICATION

E-mail from Bill Williams verified my AND3 report to WHUC this evening. He also attached several photos of their transmiter and antenna.

KXNO is a station I have heard several times without sending any report. A very good recording from the AND3 expedition was sent today and Geoff Conn, Asst. Program Director verified with a e-mail.

KRNT DES MOINES, IA 1350 VERIFICATION

KGRG ENUMCLAW, WA 1330 VERIFICATION

KGRG came trough KKPZ one morning at AND3 with a perfect ID. Finaly today Andrew Zyskowski kindly verified my report with a nice e-mail.

CKSB WINNEPEG, MB 1050 VERIFICATION

I'm trying to catch so many Canadians as possible before they leave AM. CKSB was heard with a good signal with local ID during AND3. E.mail from Martine Bordeleau verified my report.

WRSA ST. ALBANS, VT 1420 VERIFICATION

An other great logging on Andoya during AND3 is WRSA. This ESPN Radio station had a very clear ID on top of the hour one morning. Mike Raymond, Chief Engineer (N1IRN) verified my report today with a informative e-mail. WRSA was running 107 watts when we heard them, into a 51.8 meters series feed vertical, omnidirectional pattern. Thank you for a great QSL Mike!

WSNO BARRE, VT 1450 VERIFICATION

WSNO had a good signal for GY station and Jim Severance, Program Director verified my report with a nice e-mail. He was very suprised that we could hear his station as they during the night only have 15 miles of coverage:-)

WLIS OLD SAYBROOK, CT 1420 VERIFICATION

WLIS had a good signal one morning on AND3 with it's dual ID for WLIS and WMRD 1150. Nice e-mail from Don DeCesare verified my report. Don was Vice President at CBS in 1994 and had full road pass during the Olympic Winter Games at Lillehammer in 1994!

CKJR WETASKIWIN, AB 1440 VERIFICATION

"W-14-40" is a common station on Andoya. I haven't sent them any report before yeasterday. Jackie-Rae Greening Program Director verified my report today.

KXTR KANSAS CITY, KS 1660 VERIFICATION

My second Kansas station today! Perfect verification in a e-mail from Patrick Neas verified my AND3 report today. KXTR was heard with a good signal with it's classic music format.

KVSV BELOIT, KS 1190 VERIFICATION

One of the very big highlights on AND3 was to hear KVSV Beloit. Kansas on 1190. A perfect ID with call, AM and FM frequency and name of their evening announcer David Fisher. Last night David kindly verified my report with a e-mail. Thank you David for one of my best QSL ever!

CHLT SHERBROOKE, PQ 630 VERIFICATION

E-mail from Tobie Forget verified my report to CHLT. They had a fair signal, dominating over NRK Vigra on morning on AND3. Thank you Arnstein Bue for v/s info. They replied in just a couple of minutes!

CFPR PRINCE RUPERT, BC 860 VERIFICATION

Friedly e-mail from Chris Walker verified my report to CFPR. We heard CFPR on AND2 and AND3 expedition. Normaly CHAK Inuvik dominate 860.

WHLX MARINE CITY, MI 1590 VERIFICATION

KALL SALT LAKE CITY, UT 700 VERIFICATION

WLCM CHARLOTTE, MI 1390 VERIFICATION

"Victory 13-90" or WLCM was heard by many Scandinavians during October 2008. A brief e-mail from Jeff Frank, Station Managr (N8HEE) verified my report.

KTKN KETCHIKAN, AK 930 VERIFICATION

Not so often to see KTKN in the logs so I was suprised to find a clear "AM 9-30 KTKN Ketchikan" identification in a CJCA fade one afternoon at AND3. E-mail from Richard Burns verified my report to night.

KGOE EUREKA, CA 1480 VERIFICATION

What a QSL day! Brief but most welcome e-mail from Laurie Tate confirmed my AND3 report to KGOE. KGOE had a good signal several times during this expeditions and even on other AND's.

KFLD PASCO, WA 870 VERIFICATION

KFLD was also a surprise to hear. A nice "News Talk 8-70 K-F-L-D" ID was heard one morning. Nice e-mail from John McKay, Program Director verified the report this evening.

CJSN SHAUNAVON, SK 1490 VERIFICATION

WGAN PORTLAND, ME 560 VERIFICATION

KUNX VENTURA, CA 1590 VERIFICATION

KUNX - Radio Formula was heard with a fair top of the hour identification including the 3 city licens "Oxnard-Ventura-Santa Barbara". Chuck Hastings kindly verified my report this evening.

KCLX COLFAX, WA 1450 VERIFICATION

1450 gave us many new stations during AND3. One of them was KCLX. Today I received a e-mail attached a very nice confirmation letter from Gary Cummings, General Manager of Inland Northwest Broadcasting. He also verified my report to KRPL 1400 and now we have to luck out for KMAX 840.

KQDI GREAT FALLS, MT 1450 VERIFICATION

Heard KQDI with a brief signal in a short break at KONP. "News Radio 14-50 KQDI". Keith Teske kindly verified my report this evening.

CKOR PENTICTON, BC 800 VERIFICATION

Easy Rock was dominating the frequency for som minutes during AND3. E-mail from Mark Burley, Program Director verifying my report today.

KTOE MANKATO, MN 1420 VERIFICATION

I have heard KTOE 1420 several times but never received any verification until today. Chief Engineer Scott Schmeling verified my report with a friendly e-mail. KTOE was heard with a good signal during AND3. Now they are in the process of rebuilding the directional antenna system so we will next year hear if that do anything to the possibility to hear KTOE.

KENO LAS VEGAS, NV 1460 VERIFICATION

A few minutes after we heard KWWN 1100 also KENO Las Vegas could be heard. This "ESPN Deportes" station was heard with a local ID. Chief Engineer Bill Croghan (WB0KSW) kindly verified my report.

Heard ESPN 1100 with a fair signal one morning during AND3. Today I received an e-mail verifying my report from Dave Cokin. KWWN is quit new on the AM band.

KVNI COUER D'ALENE, ID 1080 VERIFICATION AND LIVE ON THE AIR

KVNI was heard with a brief ID under a very strong KUDO. The last days I have received several e-mails from Norm McBride and today he and Bret Bowers called me and put me live on their morning show. We had a nice talk about dx-ing, farming and christmas celebrating in Norway vs USA. Thanks guys for a nice talk!
