21st June 2024 was a special DX day for me! At 0713 utc I noticed a station on 93.9 with the PI code B202 and after a little searching I found out that this was IRIB Radio Ardabil from Moghan, Iran (3571km double hop Es). I had to go back to work so I could not listen live. But in the evening a was checking my recordings and was able to identify 6 stations from Iran. Unfortunatly I have not been able to receive any QSL from them. A station on 89.3 was very interesting. I could not recognize the language but they was talking about soccer and mention several known european soccer players. Signal was good, but no PI/RDS code! After some investigation and a look at the map I found out that Lervik was close to the Iranian boarder and that Ictimai Radio (A sport station) was transmitting on 89.3. I sent them a message and the answer came quickly. They were very surprised to have been heard in Norway and they wanted to make a feature about it in the broadcast on 25.6! I could not hear them on FM, but I was listen to the online stream and made a recording of it! This opening lasted only for 3-4 minutes and I was lucky I have my recording going!
